Went online today.

Only three days online and already the first update. Or actually a couple of micro-updates.

I fixed the red star gifs which didn't show up on some browsers, edited some outdated information here and added something to the writing credits. Clicking on the photo in the bio section will now produce a full colour photo (I am not really monochrome).

It's been a little over a week and the counter lists 94 visitors already, from places as diverse as Germany, Britain, Canada, Australia, the USA and Iceland. This last one has me somewhat confused, since I have no idea how that visitor might have got here. So if the person from Iceland reads this, could you drop me a line and tell me how you found my site. Of course, I welcome comments and suggestions from all my visitors.

So what's new? I added a new Random Rant and overhauled the comics part of the Links page. I also did some tweaking of meta-tags to make it easier for the search engines to find me.

158 visitors and counting. Countries of origin include Finnland, Greece and Turkey in addition to those already listed.

This time around, I added a new story to the Writing section. What is more, the Haiku Zone has some brandnew Christmas-themed haikus. More holiday stuff coming soon.

Even more seasonal stuff has been added to the site: There is a new (rather nasty) Christmas poem. Plus, you can see some photos from Cora's family album at the Image Gallery of Christmas Past.

Last week we passed the 200 visitors mark. Not a bad tally, considering that the site has been online only a month.

A new Random Rant has been added. The topic is of course, Christmas. I also corrected a few errors around the site, and that's it for this update.

We passed the 250 visitors mark today. Unfortunately, the site has been down for a few hours yesterday and today. At the moment, I'm trying to figure out whether this has to do with the server or with me.

It's a rather small update this time around. A new Random Rant has been added to the site, that's all.

Finally, a bit of news: newleaf 12 will be launched on January 10th, 2002, at the Café Ambiente as usual. Among many great pieces of prose and fiction contained in the magazine, there will also be a poem by me. Visit the newleaf website for more information.
