Jess Nevins' pulp site lists almost every pulp character that ever appeared before World War II. Also check his excellent Victoriana and comic book sites. How he manages to keep them all updated is beyond me?

Gabe Chouinard's cutting edge e-zine offers the very finest in speculative fiction and criticism.

Fantastic Metropolis
Despite the recent editorial shake-ups and change in direction, this is still great site. Their tagline "Like no place else" is certainly accurate.

A brand-new e-zine that looks very promising.

Crawlspace
Crawlspace is a comic site with fan pages, image galleries and a message board, where I am one of the moderators. They focus mainly on Image and Wildstorm comics, but you can talk about anything you want. Head over there and tell them Valkyrie sent you!

Comicbook Resources
As the name says, this site offers lots of resources for comic fans. Regular columns, a huge link database and more. The largest English language comic site on the net.

Warren Ellis
The official site of comics writer Warren Ellis.

Sequential Tart
A very informative webzine about comics, created and maintained solely by women.

Next Comics
There are lots of online comics, this site had some of the best.

I wasn't sure whether to put this site under comics or under literature, since it has both original comics and prose texts. Whatever, check it out!
